LUGplast successfully completes certification to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
The company has successfully implemented and certified its quality (ISO 9001) and environmental (ISO 14001) management systems with the support of the European Union.
LUGplast d.o.o. has successfully completed the process of implementing and certifying its quality management system to ISO 9001 and its environmental management system to ISO 14001.
The certification was carried out under the project “Support for companies for product certification and the introduction of management systems” (PK.1.3.04.0777), with the support of the European Union.
During the project, the necessary documentation was prepared, business processes were organised and procedures were established in line with the requirements of both standards. Some employees completed internal auditor training, and after the audits and a successfully completed certification process, the company was issued ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certificates.
For LUGplast, which collects, sorts and processes waste and handles its disposal, introducing these systems is an important step in the further development of the business. ISO 9001 provides a better-organised system for monitoring quality and controlling business processes, while ISO 14001 enables more systematic management of the environmental impact of its activities. Applying them contributes to better work organisation, timely identification of opportunities for improvement and more responsible management of resources.
The certificates confirm LUGplast’s commitment to quality and responsible business and add value in cooperation with existing and future business partners, both in Croatia and abroad.
For us, certification is not the end of the process but the basis for further improvement of our work, the development of our employees and the use of more efficient solutions in waste management. LUGplast d.o.o. will continue to invest in knowledge, technology and the quality of its operations, with the aim of further developing and strengthening its role in the waste management sector.
